Reports in Excel Have Merged Cells and I Can't Sort. How Do I Remove The Merged Cells?

 To remove the merged cells follow these steps:

Go to cell A1 - (F5 - function 5 and type A1)
Highlight the entire form that has data - hold the shift key and arrow down and across
Right click in the body of the screen where it is grey and select format cells
Select alignment tab at the top

Merge cells will have a square with a box - click it twice - the first time makes everything merged, the second deletes it.

This will remove all the merged cells so you can sort the data.
