I am not getting emails, what can I do?

There are a number of reasons why you are not getting your emails.

Let's review the obvious solutions:

  • Your email address in the system is incorrect - go to My Profile and manually re-type your email address, sometimes we do not see an extra period.
  • The type of email is set to "None" - Change this to text or if you like the pretty mark up version, HTML

My address is correct and the type is set to HTML, now what?

  • Change the type to "Text", for some providers, they will accept text but not graphics
  • Add your club's name@chelseareservations.net to your contact list.

Still having problems?

If you've not receiving emails it may be a configuration issue. Fortunately, this can be fixed. The information below will help you correct your email settings, thereby ensuring the proper receipt of your Chelsea Emails.

Microsoft Outlook:

  • On the "Preferences" tab, click the "Junk E-Mail" button
  • Click the "Safe Senders" tab
  • Click the "Add" button
  • Type ChelseaReservations.net into the field in the popup window, and click the "OK" button
  • Click "OK" on each of the previous pages to exit the Options windows
  • NOTE: If the images in our emails are being blocked, adding ChelseaReservations.net to your "safe senders" list will also solve this problem.

Hotmail or MSN:

  • Login to your email account
  • Click "Options"
  • Click "Junk Email Protection"
  • Click "Safe List"
  • Add ChelseaReservations.net to the list

Yahoo:

  • Login to your email account

AOL:

  • Login to your email account
  • Open your Address Book
  • Add "<Club Name>@ChelseaReservations.net"
  • Contact the Pro shop to get the exact sender information, <Club Name>.
  • Note: Make sure you check your "bulk senders" folder for the ChelseaReservations confirmation email, where it says "show me mail from," in your Mailbox.

Other Internet Service Providers:

  • Safe List Setting up your own safe list, which some e-mail systems allow you to do. Look for the safe list in the settings section, and add ChelseaReservations.net. If you have to enter a complete address, use "<Club Name>@ChelseaReservations.net". Contact the Pro shop to get the exact sender <Club Name>information. Some e-mail systems require a sender to be in your address book to keep the e-mail from being diverted to a "junk"; or "bulk"; mail folder. If your system has this requirement, add "<Club Name> @ChelseaReservation.net" to your address book.

I have done all of the above, I still am not receiving Emails.  Maybe it's us.

  • Contact the Pro Shop and have them contact Chelsea.  The Pro Shop will need to provide a date and time that an email should have been sent.  This will allow us to ensure the email has properly left our email server.

You said it left your server, it is not Chelsea, now what?

  • If the email properly left our server, then it is out of our hands.  Get in touch with technical support at your ISP or club and explain the problem. If they are blocking e-mail from ChelseaReservations.net, let them know that they need to stop.
